The Evolution of Ken
Not a career change. An evolution.
5 Years in Data Engineering
Built pipelines, wrangled data, shipped dashboards. Got good at it. But somewhere between the ETL jobs and the Jira tickets, I realized something was missing — not the work itself, but the feeling that it was enough.
The Job Was Good. I Wasn't.
5 years in, I had a stable career and a quiet restlessness. Titles and pay bumps weren't scratching the itch. I wanted to build — not just maintain. I wanted to explore — not just optimize. So I started moving.
Moving to Understand
I moved across multiple countries — not as a tourist, but as someone searching for perspective. Different cultures, different problems, different ways people live and work. Every country taught me something I couldn't learn from a screen.
Canada — Building What's Next
I'm based in Canada now, building a path forward. Looking for roots here and an eye toward the US. But more than geography, I'm building systems, products, and a life on my own terms. Kenvolution isn't just a domain — it's the direction.
“I didn't want a better job. I wanted a better story.”
